INTRODUCTION A high performance water repellent wood protection solution for application to timber and joinery work giving lasting protection from attack from micro organisms, fungal growth and blue staining, and also, the micro pigments within Dugganite Timber Protection filter out harmful ultra violet rays from sunlight without obscuring grain clarity.
The good adhesion, flexibility and water repellency minimises the dimensional instability associated with timber products AVAILABILITY Colours manufactured to customers order requirements. PACKAGE SIZES Supplied in 5 litre lever cans and 20 Litre drums.
COMPOSIITON A highly durable blend of oleo resinous media, fungicides and water repellents in an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent.

SURFACE PREPARATION The timber must be clean and dry, free from oils, greases and waxes or other surface contamination and with a moisture content of 18% +/- 2%. Failure to meet these requirements may result in poor penetration slow drying and premature failure of the system. Hard woods containing high resin content should be allowed to weather out prior to the application of Dugganite Timber Protection.
APPLICATION Dugganite Timber Protection may be applied by brush or conventional air assisted spray. It may also be applied in certain applications by dipping. It is supplied ready for use by brush or by spray application.
THEORETICAL COVERAGE Coverage will vary considerably with porosity and surface profiler but can be expected to be in the region of 5 – 15 square metres per litre.
OVERCOATING May be overcoated with subsequent coats of Dugganite Timber Protection after a minimum of 12 hours in favourable drying conditions.
